1. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address, mobile number and suburb.

• Matchmaking information: your age or age bracket, gender, who you are looking to meet, relationship status, and information about your values, lifestyle, interests, relationship history and what you are looking for in a partner.

• Photos you choose to share with us, including for photo feedback.

• Booking and enquiry details: appointments you book, and messages you send us.

• Event information: your registration and attendance at our events

• Website and technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our website and emails.

2. Sensitive information

Some information you share with us may be "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act, such as your sexual orientation, religious beliefs, cultural background or health information.

We only collect sensitive information with your consent, and only when it is relevant to finding you a compatible match. We will not share your sensitive information with anyone without your consent, unless the law requires it.

3. How we collect your information

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

• fill in a form on our website or landing pages, including to download our free dating guide

• book an appointment, including a complimentary dating review

• meet with us for a consultation or matchmaking session

• contact us by email, phone or social media

• register for or attend one of our events

• subscribe to our emails.

Cookies and analytics tools may also collect information about how you use our website (see section 9).

4. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• provide our matchmaking and dating coaching services, including understanding what you are looking for and identifying compatible matches

• introduce you to potential matches (see below)

• respond to your enquiries and manage your bookings

• send you the resources you request, such as our dating guide

• send you dating tips, updates, event invitations and offers, where you have agreed to receive them

• run and improve our events, website and services

• keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

Sharing your details with potential matches

Introductions are at the heart of what we do, so we want to be clear about this. We will only share your details with a potential match with your permission. When we introduce you, we share [e.g. your first name, a photo and a short summary of who you are]. We never share your contact details, such as your phone number or email address, until you agree to it.

5. Emails and marketing

If you download our dating guide or subscribe to our emails, we will send you the guide and occasional dating tips, updates and offers. We send these emails in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

6. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business, with:

• Potential matches, with your permission, as described in section 4.

• Service providers who help us operate, such as our customer relationship management and email platform (GoHighLevel), our email delivery provider, our website host (Wix), our email and document tools (Google Workspace) and our marketing and technology consultant (Digital Dish).

• Legal or regulatory authorities, where the law requires it.

Our service providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure those providers handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. How we store and protect your information

We store your information securely in our systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. We delete or de-identify matchmaking profiles within three months of you ending your membership. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site and to improve our marketing. You can turn off cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work as intended.

10. Automated decisions

We do not use computer programs to make decisions about you that significantly affect you without a person being involved. Every match is personally considered by Love with Me.

11. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first. We will look into it and respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website.
